Insurance
I am an in-network provider with most BlueCross BlueShield plans. BCBS may cover the whole cost of session or only partially based on your health insurance or employee benefit plan. If you have questions you should call your insurance provider to inquire about your plan and what is covered. If I do not specifically accept your insurance, I can provide you with a comprehensive billing statement that you can submit to your insurance provider to request reimbursement.
Self Pay
Self pay rates range from $100-$150 for assessments and sessions. Sliding scale fee is available based on needs.
Cash, check, HSA and credit/debit cards are acceptable forms of payment.
There are both pros and cons of self pay versus private insurance. The main hinderance of self pay is the immediate out-of-pocket expense that occurs at the time of session. The benefit of self pay is that there is no requirement for a mental health diagnoses. When using insurance, most insurance providers require a mental health diagnosis in order for therapy to be covered.
Cancellation Policy
Hope For Healing Counseling PLLC requires at least 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or change your therapy appointment. Failure to provide at least 24 hours notice will result in a $100 cancellation/no show fee. This fee is not covered by insurance.
